Il movimento internazionale degli "scettici" compie 25 anni: nel 1976, infatti, nacque lo CSICOP (Committee for the Scientific Investigation of Claims of the Paranormal), da cui sono poi discese circa 80 organizzazioni nazionali in tutto il mondo. In Italia, il CICAP, che al CSICOP si ispira, e' nato nel 1989.
